The Artists Sunday Road Rally
November 30, 2025
11:00 am-4:00pm

The Sunday after Thanksgiving is Artists Sunday®, a nationwide campaign that encourages people to buy art directly from artists and local art shops for the holidays. Geneva will participate for the first time in this celebration of the arts.

The Geneva Foundation for the Arts, in collaboration with Patty Donahue, event coordinator and owner of Image Awards, Engraving & Creative Keepsakes and Studio Patty D, will present The Artists Sunday Road Rally — a free, self-guided art tour of Geneva IL artists, Studios and shops supporting local artists from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on November 30, 2025. Participating locations will host live demos, art exhibitions and event specials. Those attending the Road Rally will gather raffle tickets from each location for a chance to win one of a kind prize packages. The inaugural event is brought to you by the individual artists and a grant from the City of Geneva, Illinois.

Participating businesses and studios, include The Winding Deerpath, Midwest Nice, Tinker Belz Art, Studio Patty D, Art by Emilia, Evoke Salon and Gallery, Children's Art Classes and the Geneva Public Library.

Terrain

The Geneva Foundation for the Arts is bringing Terrain to the Fox River Valley!

Terrain is a biennial event that brings artists and neighbors together to share public art in neighborhoods around the word. The theme for Terrain this year is DIY!

Terrain will take place October 1 - November 15, 2025.

Let’s collaborate to make Terrain 2025 an incredible celebration of creativity and community! It is a fun and family-friendly experience!

Terrain Kickoff Block Party - 2025!

Terrain artists, host families, and community members are invited to celebrate the first weekend Terrain Art Displays are on view in our community!

When: Saturday, Oct. 4 from 11am-2pm

Location: 328 N. 2nd Street, Geneva

  • Please bring a food item/drink to share (grill available!)

  • Live music by Fire Chief Charlie

  • 50/50 Raffle Fundraiser

  • Crafts to purchase for fundraiser donated by local artists (cash only)

  • Terrain maps available on site

Shakespeare In The Park
Saturday, Aug. 2 at 6pm 2025

Island Park, Geneva (Rt. 25 & State St.)

The Geneva Foundation for the Arts is bringing Shakespeare in the Park to Geneva!

A free* evening of culture and comedy for all ages!

FREE ADMISSION!*

  • Family friendly event    

  • Seating begins at 4 p.m.

  • Bring chairs, blankets and a picnic or purchase from our food vendors

  • Stockholm's and Graham's will sell sandwiches, water and ice cream

  • Performance by Goodly Creatures Theatre

  • A contest for the most elaborate picnic will be held at 5:30pm.

Goodly Creatures Theatre will perform William Shakespeare's MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING. Join us for a night of comedy and culture in the park!  In Shakespeare’s wittiest and wildest rom-com, Beatrice and Benedick are ferociously independent individuals who have steadfastly avoided sharing their lives with anyone but themselves… until now. Despite their best efforts to remain single, falling for one another is inevitable.

Parking is available at the Kane County Government Center, 719 Batavia Ave. Follow the trail north and cross the bridge across the Fox River to Island Park. Parking is also available in downtown Geneva public parking lots
